Home Watercolor Portrait, with White Matte and Wood Frame
You’re received your custom panting or sketch from us and don’t know what to do with it? Resist the urge to throw it in the bottom of a drawer and forget about it. It’s something that may mean a lot to you now, as a keepsake of your wedding. Or it may grow to mean more to you over the years of your marriage. Framing it to display it or preserve it is a great idea, as well as easy and cost affordable.
Your custom art will look most professional if you frame it with a matte. Having a matte will make the entire piece bigger, because it adds a white border around the painting.
You can take it to a custom frame shop, or you can easily do it yourself. Our art is usually right around 8×10” which will easily fit into a pre-made matte and frame combo like this one:
This example is black, but you can also find white, wood, metal or other materials as the frame.
Below is an example of a framed painting with no matte, which gives a different look.
Happy framing! And once its framed, send me a photo! I’d love to see how it turned out for you!
