Some weddings feel effortlessly elegant from the very beginning, and Meghan and Josh’s March celebration at OceanCliff in Newport, Rhode Island was exactly that.

Overlooking Narragansett Bay, OceanCliff provided the perfect setting for a wedding filled with soft coastal colors, meaningful details, and timeless style. With a palette of powder blue, ivory, and fresh greenery, every element felt refined yet relaxed—an ideal reflection of Newport’s seaside charm.

For their wedding stationery, we created a delicate custom monogram surrounded by hand-drawn florals, paired with soft blue-gray details cards and subtle typography. The invitation suite was intentionally understated, allowing the beautiful materials, elegant script, and thoughtful design details to speak for themselves. One of our favorite touches was the watercolor illustration of OceanCliff featured throughout the wedding day, tying the stationery and venue together beautifully.

The day began with classic bridal details, including velvet ring boxes, heirloom-inspired accessories, and soft white roses. Meghan carried a timeless bouquet of white roses accented with fresh greenery, perfectly complementing her modern gown and the bridesmaids’ soft blue dresses.

After a ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Newport, guests gathered at OceanCliff for an evening overlooking the water. The venue’s panoramic views of Narragansett Bay created a stunning backdrop for cocktail hour, portraits, and sunset celebrations. As the afternoon light softened across the coastline, Meghan and Josh stole a few quiet moments together on the lawn, surrounded by the natural beauty that makes Newport weddings so memorable.

Inside, guests enjoyed an elegant reception framed by OceanCliff’s sweeping waterfront windows. The combination of classic architecture, coastal scenery, and thoughtful details created an atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and welcoming.

One of the most meaningful details from the day was the custom watercolor guest canvas featuring OceanCliff, where family and friends left handwritten messages and well wishes for the couple. It served as both a guest book and a lasting piece of artwork—a beautiful keepsake from a truly special celebration.
